Schools are all challenged to move up to higher-speed, more reliable Wi-Fi. They want strong security, killer coverage, and connections that don’t drop. They also need Wi-Fi to go to places where no Ethernet cabling has gone before, such as common areas, temporary classrooms and every corner of the campus. But for most educational institutions, tigher budgets and busy IT staffs make the transition impossible.
Fortunately, Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi is the first technology that gives schools a cost-effective wireless infrastructure that’s in a class by itself. It provides robust, complete coverage and ‘best in class’ performance at an affordable price.
For an example of a site-wide Ruckus Wireless deployment, take a look at our case-study from Christ the King College.
BeamFlex Technology
BeamFlex consists of a smart, compact antenna array with multiple elements, which can be combined in real time to form unique antenna patterns.
The advanced BeamFlex system software continually learns the environment with all its hostilities and interference sources, including disruptive RF conditions, numerous communicating devices, network performance issues, and application flows. Then, it selects the optimum antenna pattern for each communicating device in real time, while actively avoiding interference and minimizing noise to nearby networks and devices.
DataSwift Solutions
DataSwift are experienced installers of Ruckus wireless systems and can configure single or multiple access points to flood coverage across any school site.
Schools are increasingly reliant on wireless devices to provide a better learning enviroment and we believe that Ruckus wireless is able to deliver reliable, high performance wireless networks that can help achieve this.
Whilst we recommend Ruckus for any area of high-density usage – such as classes full of laptops, we are also able to offer wireless equipment from a wide range of other manufacturers including Netgear and D-Link.
