All DataSwift support engineers have previously worked as IT engineers in the education sector. This unique background has allowed DataSwift to formulate a range of support contracts suited to all types of education establishments whether a small primary with little or no in house IT support to larger secondary/colleges that have their own IT team. However complex your support requirement is, DataSwift has the expertise to support you.

DataSwift have a dedicated installation team with 11 years experience working within the school environment. Our installation engineers are fully trained to install and certify copper and fibre networks from one off network points to large scale refits and new builds. In addition our installation teams are able to install education tools such as projectors, screens, PA systems and interactive whiteboards.

With the increasing prevalence of mobile devices (such as tablets, net-books and phones), wireless networks have become increasingly relied upon within the school environment. Existing systems that were able to support five to ten devices are now not able to cope with the influx of new wireless devices that schools require to teach. With the aid of new wireless technologies such as Ruckus BeamFlex, DataSwift are able to install, configure and support wireless networks that are able to support thirty to fifty devices in any one location allowing for hassle free teaching and minimising the strain on your IT support staff.

We are fully aware that there is increasing demand from staff for access to school IT systems from off-site, and can provide a variety of solutions to facilitate remote-working. These range from configuring individual PCs for access by their primary user, through to full Remote Desktop servers and secure Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).

Child protection is paramount and as such, all DataSwift engineers have CRB/DBS checks which are renewed every 3 years.
